The Journal of Tropical Diseases and Medicine (JTMH) is a peer-reviewed open access academic journal that focuses on the importance of tropical diseases and medicine as both a global health issue and as a key to understanding many biological phenomena. JTMH seeks to address such topics as the role of the environment, socio-economic factors, and other factors in the emergence, spread, and control of tropical diseases. It covers a variety of areas of research related to tropical diseases and medicine, including epidemiology, biochemistry, clinical research, public health, medical anthropology, health policy, and healthcare delivery.


All published research is rigorously reviewed in order to ensure that it is of the highest quality, and the journal provides an open platform for the exchange of ideas related to the transmission, diagnosis, treatment, and control of tropical diseases. In this way, JTMH provides the latest advances in knowledge related to the ever-evolving field of tropical medicine, and aims to empower the medical community with knowledge that can serve as the foundation for further progress in the diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases.


Submission Process

JTMH supports the open access publishing model and provides a platform for the researchers to publish their work in the form of original research articles, review articles, commentaries, and editorials. All the submissions must be made in accordance with the journal guidelines . The manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by the expert reviewers and Editors of the journal. The final decision for the article’s acceptance will be made by the Editors based on the reviewers comments. After the acceptance of the article, it shall be immediately published in the journal’s online edition.Author’s requested to submit the article through online submission portal or via mail.

Instructions to Prepare your article

We request authors to provide detailed information about the research conducted and its methodology. We also suggest authors should take care in the preparation of their manuscripts, making sure all figures are legible and of good quality. We request authors to format the paper according to JTMH's guidelines. Ensuring the manuscript is structured in accordance with JTMH’s instructions and standards helps streamline the peer review process and publication timeline. 


Article Processing Charge

In order to ensure all authors have the same opportunity to publish their work, the journal offers an Article Processing Charges (APC) to cover the costs associated with the publication of the article.
