Aims and Scope

Journal of New Developments in Molecular Biology is a multidisciplinary journal that aims to publish the recent and outstanding developments in the areas of molecular biology.  JNMB encourages submissions in the form of Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials.

Molecular biology is a branch of biology that deals with the structure, function and applications of molecules responsible for the functioning, growth and development in a living organism. Over decades, this has been one of the fastest developing areas of biology, where major developments have been in understanding the structures, dietary implications and engineering of genetic material at the molecular level.

The ever-evolving field of molecular biology has had a significant impact on our lives. It has led to the development of several innovative technologies, offering a wide range of applications, including gene editing and gene therapy, which have revolutionised the field of medicine. By understanding the genetic structure of disease-causing pathogens, we can now make informed decisions to identify and treat diseases more accurately, and vaccinations have become ubiquitous. Molecular biology has also played an enormous role in the industrial food production industry, such as genetically modified crops.

JNMB aims to create an international platform for experts to share their research developments, findings and discoveries in the rapidly advancing field of molecular biology.

By providing an easily accessible publication outlet, JNMB ensures that developments from all areas of molecular biology gain the recognition they deserve.

JNMB is committed to upholding the highest standards in scientific publishing, and strives to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are subject to rigorous review processes. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism checks and peer review by leading experts in the field. All content uploaded onto the platform is also checked for quality assurance prior to being published, guaranteeing that only the highest quality scientific research is published in the journal.

Given its rise in popularity, JNMB is quickly becoming one of the leading sources of information for exciting developments in molecular biology. Apart from providing researchers an easy outlet for publication, the journal also serves as a useful source of knowledge and abstracts related to discoveries in a variety of fields. As genetic data accumulates, our understanding of the molecular basis of life will continue to develop, which can only be beneficial for the health and well-being of entire human populations.

Submissions from a wide range of fields are accepted by the journal, such as cell and molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, virology, epigenetics, bioengineering and nanotechnology methods. Every article published in the journal undergoes a rigorous review process and is published in open access format for larger audience reach.
