Aims and Scope

The Journal of Public Health International (JPHI) is a peer-reviewed publication that aims to promote the advancement of public health on a global scale. Through the publication of original research, review articles, case reports, and other types of content, the journal seeks to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices among public health professionals, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners.

Epidemiology and disease prevention: The JPHI is interested in the study of the distribution and determinants of health-related states or events in specific populations, with the goal of identifying patterns and trends that can inform the development of effective prevention strategies.

Health policy and systems: The JPHI is committed to publishing research and analysis on the design, implementation, and evaluation of health policies and systems, with a focus on improving access, quality, and equity in healthcare delivery.

Global health: The JPHI is dedicated to promoting global health equity and addressing the health challenges facing communities around the world. This includes research on the social and economic factors that contribute to health disparities, as well as the development and implementation of interventions aimed at reducing these disparities.

Environmental health: The JPHI recognizes the important role that the natural and built environment plays in shaping the health of populations. We welcome submissions on the impact of environmental factors on health, as well as on the development and evaluation of interventions aimed at improving environmental health.

Mental health: The JPHI is committed to improving the mental health and well-being of individuals and communities around the world. We welcome submissions on the prevalence, causes, and consequences of mental health disorders, as well as on the development and evaluation of interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes.

Nutrition and physical activity: The JPHI recognizes the importance of good nutrition and physical activity in maintaining health and preventing chronic diseases. We welcome submissions on the relationship between diet, physical activity, and health, as well as on the development and evaluation of interventions aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.
